About Us
Miller Dunwiddie is a full-service architecture and design firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded in 1963, the work of the firm began with a focus on aviation, workplace, and governmental projects. Since then the firm’s expertise has grown to include preservation, interior design, transportation, and building envelope systems. Understanding history, context, and technology is paramount to the body of our work whether it’s the rehabilitation and renovation of an existing structure or creating a new building from the ground up.
Committed to providing a comprehensive approach to design and project delivery, Miller Dunwiddie offers a broad range of professional services including programming, predesign, master planning, interior design, construction management services, and building science assessment and reporting. We work side-by-side with our clients as a strategic partner to translate their needs and values into places that are beautiful, functional, and that will stand the test of time.

Phillip Koski voted AIA Minnesota President

At the Annual Meeting of AIA Minnesota on November 12, 2024 members voted to endorse Phillip Koski, AIA as “President-Elect” for the year 2025. He became the AIA Minnesota Board President on January 1, 2026. Koski’s involvement with AIA Minnesota spans his entire career and includes multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Architecture Minnesota Magazine committee, Treasurer and President of the AIA Minneapolis Chapter, voting delegate to several AIA national business meetings, and two years as Secretary on the AIA Minnesota Board of Directors. In recognition of his involvement and impact on the organization and the profession, Koski received the AIA Young Architect Award in 2007, and the Louis Lundgren Award for Service in 2015.
The American Institute of Architects Minnesota, founded in 1892, is the professional association for architects in the state of Minnesota. As a state component of AIA National, with three local chapters, AIA Minnesota has over 2,300 members and a staff of eight professionals. AIA Minnesota provides services to all chapters, produces a regional conference, publishes a digital monthly newsletter and annual print journal, lobbies on behalf of the profession at the state legislature, and delivers continuing education to all members.
